Refund Policy
Full-Time Enrollment Students
- Refunds will only be granted should the International Student Visa Application be denied by CIC. The full tuition fee minus the application fee (C$300CAD) will be refunded.
- Necessary documents for a refund: (1) The original letter of rejection from Canadian Immigration and Citizenship; (2) The original letter of admission; (3) Receipt of the tuition fee; (4) Refund Request Form completed by applicant/ parent/guardian.
- Refunds will not be made in the following cases: (1) Students opt out except the international student visa; (2) If the student violates the school rules; (3) If the documents are provided or the documents are insufficient; (4) If the student does not arrive regularly classes.
- For enrollment in either first or second semester, the date a student withdraws will determine what, if any, percentage of total private school tuition may be refunded. Please note that refunds can take up to 30 days to be processed. In some instances, a family may owe a final tuition payment at the time of withdrawal. All refunds or final payments will be calculated when reviewing the family’s account as part of the withdrawal process. The registration fee paid at the time of enrollment is non-refundable.
- Credit notes are non-transferable, valid for 12 months from issue date, and are applicable to all Duke Academy programs. Students cannot transfer his credit to another student.
Part-time Individual Courses and Summer School Courses
- Once the student has registered a part-time credit or non-credit course or courses and the tuition fees have been made, no refunds will be made under any circumstances.
